Born in Tokyo, Japan, Chef Kaz Sato, owner and executive chef of Kai Sushi in Santa Barbara, California, received his culinary credentials at Shinjuku Culinary School before working at notable establishments in Jogashima-Japan’s premiere fishing area and fish market on the Miura-hanto Peninsula.
